While technological advancements seem to create an avalanche of opportunities for the future of work, it is too naive to think everything will be easier. Liselotte Lyngsø is a futurist and a founding Partner of Future Navigator, her visualisation of the future pictures a complex workspace, where time and space are thrown up into the air.
“We are going to have a Metaverse, and we are going to spend a lot of time in virtual reality. At some point we will be able to hug each other, taste and smell through our avatars and holograms, and when this happens, we will move more and more into that world,” Liselotte says.

She is a mother of four and loves to explore trends all over the world.
Biography
Liselotte is appointed to the Ministry of Transport’s expert committee on the future of mobility. Co-founder of the SuperTrends Institute, which houses futurists from around the world. Additionally, she recently conducted a foresight study on cybersecurity towards 2030 for ENISA. Liselotte teaches how to spot and plan for the future in several global companies such as OSM, Datacenter Forum, Nordea, Bestseller, FIA, Novo Nordisk, Rimowa, Fast Company, and Liberty Mutual. Liselotte is a board member at CPH Business Academy and a speaker at The Future Agency. She is a member of VL20 and WOB at the Confederation of Danish Industries.
Liselotte holds an M.Phil. in Economics and Politics from St. Anthony’s College, Oxford University, UK. She has worked at the Forward Studies Unit at the EU Commission, as Research Director at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, as Director of Fahrenheit 212 at Saatchi, with scenario development at IKEA, and founded Future Navigator in 2003. She is a mother of four and loves to explore trends all over the world.
